Welcome to Text of Light, a new echo chamber on this world wide web. If you were to bookmark this blog, it might be filed into one of the following folders: California, Film, Music, Friends, People, Inner Visions. Though I will likely wax enthusiastic about events local to the Bay Area here, I leave the more comprehensive work of previewing arts calenders to more intrepid web warriors (for film you might visit Hell on Frisco Bay; Zumonline is valuable for music, Fecal Face for Visual Art; etc.). I do not have any grand designs for Text of Light other than its being a drawer for work and ideas. In coming weeks, look for reportage on the Vancouver Film Festival, making contact with Bill Callahan, and the reverie of autumn.
